jsut got back from the dump, had a 1400 pound load on the trailer, not to much tongue weight. explorer was really sagging low, i expected some, but not this much. still plenty safe to drive though. my question is this. i have seen some shocks with springs, cant find the link right now but im sure you know what i mean. would it be good to just put these shock/spring combo on or would it be better to just replace the leaf springs, possibly do both ( im thinking this would be gross overkill ). right now i rarely pull much weight, but this summer i am going to get a pop up camper. so, with this being said, what is the more better suggested route to go? shocks/springs or new leafs or a combo of both?
