You have the makings of a great looking truck Jim. The Pearl White on a Limited makes it stand out, and the XP8 hood and wing will be great touches.
I need to find a new 98-01 Mountaineer, without any rust, to build a truck as I was planning. I did locate the wheels which I hope will be able to fit the truck. I've been eyeing the Volk GTC wheels for 2-3 years, and being obsolete, finding a set used with good specs, and nice, is hard. What I have coming from Australia are 17x9" GTC's with 16+mm offset. They should clear the inner parts okay, but I see them coming out from the wheelwell a bit. I'm going to see what the rare thin wheelwell moldings came on, and how much they cost. I might need those, after I get the wheels to fit.
The Volk GTC wheels were made only for 12mm studded cars. I'm looking for a wheel rebuilder who is familiar with drilling the holes, and with the inserts that can go in them to remake the needed seat/depth/stud.

They need some care in cleanup, and to have the work done on the holes. The up side if the wheels clean up nicely and will fit, they only weigh about 21lbs each.
My old 18's I think are in the 30lbs range, the first tires I had on them made for a 72.5lbs total.
Stock 15's are only around the 53lbs mark. I hope the 275/55/17 tires I want will be in the 34lbs range or so, making the set 55lbs or so. That would be great to restore the original balance and performance. Regards,
