Welcome to the Forum Stephen.
Does the screen show anything at all or is it blank/black? Did the issue occur right away or did the MFT screen work for a while? Given that you have a 2011, it is conceivable that the APIM needs to be replaced. Is it difficult to put the remote start system back just to see if the screen works again?

Peter

Yes, it would be very difficult because I didn't make not of what was where. I just removed all the wires that were spliced in and etc. I was having lots of other issues before removing it such as, camera connectivity, sometimes it would work sometimes it wouldn't. The song would skip on it's own randomly. Sometimes interference would come through one of my speakers. Also The direction would rarely change on my compass. So I figured that "hack job" of an install may have had something to do with it. I have a lot of codes also

Did the screen work at all after the remote start was removed. If not, is it a blank screen that you are getting? Many of the earlier model years are reporting camera issues. Did you get any kind of notice pop up saying to see the dealer when this happened?

Peter

Screen never worked after removing it. Before removing it, the camera was giving me a message to contact the dealer.

I also would like to mention that before removing it, my radio worked even without the key.

Also I want to mention that there is a plug under the dash that is not plugged into anything.

I purchased the haynes manual but I can't find anything worth looking at. I don't mind purchasing a new APIM, but I would love to some how diagnose before ordering. I tried to take it to Ford today but all the local ones are booked until Thursday.

I just have a blank screen now. Another thing (not sure if I already said it) but at times my tracks would skip on it's own when using bluetooth.

The fact that you received that message for your camera means it probably has to be replaced. Rearview Camera Problems The radio will work without the key if you hit the radio ON/OFF button. That is normal. As for the plug under the dash, that is likely for the trailer brake controller. trailer brakes controller Not sure about the "skipping tracks" part. Does the radio work otherwise?

Peter

Yes, other than that it worked fine. I found a diagram of the APIM connector and I'm going to start testing wires.

So apparently there is just a short in my wiring harness somewhere for my APIM or something.

I pulled the radio out and pulled that connector out and I was testing for ground. One of them seemed to not have a ground but before grounding it I turned the car on and the radio came on like magic.

Still having camera issues though.... I'm getting code B115E:55-0A Camera Module (Module: Body Control Module)...... I got the chilton manual that gives me some tests I can try, but it tells me this code is for it not being configured. I can reset the BCM and it will work for about 10 seconds then it goes back to "please contact your dealer".
