SCT xcal 2 question

If I buy a used one that is locked how much does it cost to get it unlocked? Can I buy one that was used on a mustang and get it to work for my X?

Might want to ask that in an appropriate forum, as 91-94's are OBD-I not II, so we can't use the xcal 2. Therefore most of us don't know much about them, especially a question that detailed.

it costs $150 for sct to unlock it, you have to mail it in to them, they unlock it and mail it back. Or you could find the original vehicle the programmer was used for and return it to the stock programming, that would all you to use it also.
