Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't seem to find it if it has.
I pulled a under the hood fuse box from a 97 X to add to my 1994 so I don't have to t tap wires under the dash or run a spider web of wire to the battery.
My question is this do I need to ground this box some how or not? I don't see where a ground would go I didn't notice one when I pulled it out so I'm not sure. Thanks in advance for any help.

Good question. I'm not sure if the relays ground through a buss in the box, or outside of the box. You would only need to ground for relays, not fuses.

I don't have a '97 to look at but from what I remember the box is mounted via plastic and the ground comes through ground wires. You would need to ground those wires again but not the box.

Your going to want to grab a wiring diagram to find which wires on that box are ground and tie them together and make a single ground connection.

I took and ran a 8g wire off the starter relay to self resetting 50amp circuit breaker, then to a bosch 75 amp relay, then to a 50amp sub fuse panel behind my glove box..the bosch relay is turned on by a "key on" lead so the new fuse box is only hot with key on..the 50amp fuse box does require to be grounded to frame.

The 2nd bosch relay runs my fan
