Went out to my 2005 XLT Explorer this morning and it was dead. Turned the key again and the alarm started and wouln't quit. The car started clicking and the radio flashed even when I turned the key off this would continue. After 20 mins. the entire car goes dead. Tried to jump it and as soon as the cables touch the battery the alarm starts going off and everying in it clicks and is turning on and off. Is there someone out there that can help me with this because I cannot find ANYTHING about this. I even tried a new battery and that didn't work. HELP!!!

Well, the alarm part is normal if you try to start your car with a dead battery. I don't know why, but it does set off the alarm.

As far as your electrical problems, it sounds like a problem related to a sticking relay, but I'm not sure how to help troubleshoot that further.

The alarm does that because of the current sensor, if it senses that there's a variation it will go off, so if someone was messing with your car to try to disable the alarm it will go off, obviously it doesn't know that you're getting a new battery... just hit disarm and that should do it.. hopefully hehehe
