serious problem or wierd guage issue?

The last 2 times when taking my 92 sport for a 20 min drive, I noticed every guage except the fuel gage was reading way off from normal.

The oil pressure guage was pegged on high.
The volt guage was reading around 10 volts
The coolant tempurature guage would start cold but as it warms up will quickly read high to appearing to reach overheat indication.

The vehicle appeared to run OK during this time and I was able to sucessfuly reach my destination.

Furthur checking found oil in the "safe" area on the dipstick and the coolant about only a cup low.

When measuring the battery with a VOM 12.5 volts at rest. 15.1 volts while running.

Observations under the hood while running found nothing amiss.

I am leaning towards wierd guage problem.

Any clues as to the cause?

Thanks,
Ben

Bad / corroded cluster connection would be my guess as a start. When I pulled mine out and put it back in a hurry it had all sorts of similar issues. Other than that, check grounds.

Well I suppose it is a connector or ground problem as all the guages started working properly on their own. I hope they stay that way.

Thanks,
Ben
