Shake, rattle, and roll

GRRRRRRRR....ok....i know woppers are bad for you, but i wanted one today, and went to burger king. When i got next to the wall (bless them with all of there sound reflecting qualities) i heard a shaking sound coming from under my truck. It only does this when im in drive. if i put it in neutral or park it goes away. what the?!?!? what is happening here?

Also every time that i go over any bumps (small and large) i hear this rattle coming from my front end.....is this a sign of bearings going out?

Check your Radius Arm bolts, I had a nasty rattle, and after replacing some other bushings, and still had a rattle, I torqued the RA bolts, and presto, the rattle was gone!!!!

Other posibilities

The explorers have also some heat shields attached to the tranny and the catalitic converter. If they become loose they have a tendency to rattle. Just push em back as it is a clip-on device. Good luck.
