6 cylinder auto trans with o/d.
two wheel drive, four door.
no check engine light.
1996 ford explorer from a cold start shift to reverse, 8 to 10 second delay engages (or kind of clunks) into reverse, then whole vehicle shakes, o/d light blinks on the dash board.
put vehicle in park, turn off engine, wait 10 seconds, restart engine, shift into reverse, everything works as normal and no flashing o/d light for the rest of day this only happens from a cold start.
