Ok everyone this is what happened. I was driving to work at 4 a.m. I am almost there and all of a sudden the check engine light started blinking. The exploder started to like hitch or hump what ever so I stepped down on it and it came out of it but as soon as it started to come back down to idling speed it started again. So I repeated this well... It finally just quite and I was able to coast it in to a Mc Ds. Threw a code reader on it and it said random Missfire, Cyclinder 8 misfire, and that all the coil packs where misfiring? WTF. I just replaced the MAP sensor and the crankshaft posisioning sensor and all the spark plugs and still no luck. I know the fuel pump is working bc you can hear it turn on and it holding pressure in the fuel rail. So please any help!!!

Er, shot in the dark, unplug the mass airflow sensor and try it. No..t sure if the ECM in that year will ignore it but I have seen it work in older Fords. The ECM runs from a set of parameters when it cannot see the MAF

That is if your MAF is the problem.

Well I also tried to see if the plugs are sparking and it doesnt look like they are because i just hooked them into the coil/book combination with the sparkplug and tried to turn it over and no spark.
