I think my first purchase is going to be a new battery. I just went out and cranked it twice for about 3 seconds each time and the battery drained down to almost nothing....go figure
Why are you cranking the engine? You need to test the Inertia switch to verify it is getting power, if it isn't then your engine will get zero fuel and will not start.. (so you're killing your battery for nothing).
I have not dismissed your advice by any means I would love to test it if only I had a test light, which I dont, and no money to purchase one at the moment. I cranked the engine following the advice of someone else in this thread to check relays. He said he removed the relay and then was able to fire up the engine. So this is what I did. I am really kind of stuck right now with very little money and am trying to trouble shoot this as much as possible until payday.
