shift indicator light

hi everyone im new to this

i recently bought a 06 ford explorer xlt and the shift indicator light is not working. i change the bulb and check the fuses


how can i fix it ?

You said you changed the bulb and checked the fuse so it could be a break in the wire or rusty contacts. A test light would be a good way to check for a break in the wires. For the rusty contacts try inserting and removing the bulb a couple times and before you put it back together leave the light out and turn your headlights on check if the bulb lights up.
