Ok. The shift lever will not come out of park. I know it is not the tranny. I disconnected the shift cable underneath to check. When my Ex is NOT running...if I slowly move the ignition switch while trying to shift...it will move fine, if I hit JUST the right spot. I have checked the two torx head bolts at the back of the shifter tube...they're tight. I see a plastic piece that runs down the length of the collumn on top of the ignition switch. (Kinda hidden inside the collum.) Is it possible that piece has either worn or broke thus preventing my shifter from unlocking? Is there a way to realign this? It worked totaly fine until I went to start it this morning. No problems with it until then! My ignition switch may be a little worn out as well...but it didn't look like there was a lot of play when I removed it to inspect it. At least not enough to mis-align the locking mechanism. Not 100% sure. Any help would be GREATLY appriciated!

Do your brake lights work?

There is a solenoid at the base of the column that enables the shifter interlock...If the brake light fuse is blown the solenoid will not work and the shifter will not release...

That was the trick! Turned out that I had a short in my trailer wiring harness. Got that fixed, replaced the fuse, and now it works like a champ! Thanks for the help!
