Shift Lock

I have a 95X with automatic, column shift. When I try to shift from park it is locked. After wiggling the shift arm and pumping brake on and off it will finally shift. (sometimes five minutes) I don't know if its the shift arm moving or the brake switch? It'll shift fine in all other gears but when I put it back in park I have to go through the routine again. Anyone had the same problem? Thanks.

got a multi-meter? If not you can either buy one and check the brake switch or you can replace the brake switch for close to the same cost
