96 awd limited
Okay I am trying to figure out how to wire up my shift motor, I have a 96 limited v8 awd but did a bw4406 tcase swap and none of the wiring is in place like it is supposed to be.

I cannot find schematics (Sp?) anywhere, but would like to figure out how to hook up the motor so that it shifts, I dont care about the t.o.d just want to be able to switch from 2-4h-4l.
I have found that sending power to the orange and yellow wire in the shift motor allows the motor turn one way then switching the polarity on the yellow and the orange wire it will move back.
So it shifts from 2all the way to 4L.
Does anyne know what makes the shift motor stop at 4h or how I can go about figuring it out.? I want my 4wd to work!
thanks in advance

is my question hard to understand or does no one know?

Try ebay for a wiring CD. Should be able to work it out from that.

never thought of ebay will try that thnx, but was hoping someone would have the info but if not the cd will be worth its weight in gold
