1994 Ford Explorer
I am fairly new to this site, i have a 1994 Ford Explorer sport 4.0L with a 5 speed, its all bone stock, but i cant seem to find any specs on what size the shifter post is, i would like to get a new knob for it, but the last knob i tried to put on it was way to small, can anyone help me with what size hole in the knob i would need for the knew one?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

I would take off the old knob (they just pull off), and measure the post size.

see but the problem is that i already have an the only way i was able to was to break it lol, thing didnt wanna come off one bit. would it work if i use maybe a socket size?

I don't understand, can't you measure the diameter of the post using a ruler or calipers? You should be able to find a replacement in a junkyard if you wanted to re-install a stock one.
