Recently bought a 2000 5.0 2wd. Needed tires so I put on Michelins LTX. (great tires and ride by the way). Guy said the alignement was way off and recomended i get one. I figured id test it with the new tires first... when i'm driving it doesnt seem to pull at all and drives pretty straight. Can the alignment be off and not pull? Thanks...

anytime you put tires on you should align it, or else you potentially greatly reduce the life of your tires

Were the tires that you took off wearing evenly?

If yes, and it drives straight, I wouldn't pay for an alignment.

The tire guys are trained to tell you your alignment is way off...

Yes. Cheap insurance on your new tires.
