Should I Sell My 2007 Mountaineer

Always fun being lectured on rustproofing from someone as I recall lives where that isn't a thing...

Between the miles I put on and the years I keep them, its all in the plan.

I'll leave it at that.

So you think you know me that well? You don't. I was born and raised in Indiana so I know all about life in the rust belt. A little Fluid Film would go a long way in keeping rust under control. You allow rust to happen and then complain about the results it brings.

I grew up in buffalo NY
+1 on the Fluid film
Smells like crap if you get it on the exhaust

I was interviewing for a job in Buffalo in the early 1990s and made several trips there in the winter and spring. Many people I met had a POS winter beater car they drove to keep their better vehicles from falling to the rust gods. Some of these cars looked like they wouldn't make it five miles down the road. I think the lake effect there might make that area the worst place in the USA for rusting out vehicles.

Lots of people do drive winter beaters

Buffalo sure does have the snow, even compared to here in WI. And anywhere they are using the salt spray is even worse, than the usual road salt, for rusting your ride.
