Should i Trade explorers?

Should i trade my truck(the xplorer) for - 91 explorer eb edition 456 gears dana 44 solid axle front 9 inch rear disc brakes 36 14.50 15 tsl radials at about 1/2 tread has good running 4.0 with 5 spd trans heavy front bumper with mount for 8274 warn winch body and interior are fair-good shape make a great trail rig needs nothing $2800

I have a couple questions,

-How much do u think my truck is worth.(i think at least 5,000)
-Is this a fair trade or do u think im getting ripped off

I want to do a SAS but this truck already has this. Im really interested in this.

your truck is worth at least twice that price... if anything, trade it and insist on the seller giving you $2800 and the truck

honestly, i would say buy it and keep both trucks... but your truck is a lot newer and due to the age/mods of the other, a lot more DD friendly/reliable

Well i would buy it but i dont have any money. It wouldnt be my DD. My truck has 110,000 miles on it. THe drivers door is bashed it and rest of the body is pretty good.I offered him to trade my truck for 3,000 and his truck.He didnt want to do that.

It's your call.. but i also like the look of the 2nd gens a little better. The only 1st gen i wish i had was redrig's.. for some reason i like his X. But that would be a sweet trail rig!

Tell ya what.. ill buy it from him for $2800 then trade ya

Yeah, I think you should get some money in addition, but I would probably make that trade for the solid axle and winch and stuff

no way... if the dude wants $2800 for it and your truck is worth at least double... then sell your truck and buy his.... unless he plans on pitching in like another $2500

I will probably ask him for 3,000 and his truck for my truck. If he doesnt want to do that i will not trade. I just did KBB. My truck is worth 10,810. IM pretty surprised. Minus a few dollars for the mods and dents

to truley figure out what your truck is worth go to edmunds.com and use their TMV (True Market Value) .. KBB is ok but it rarely gives you the true value of your rig..

Mostly KBB is used by car dealers to show people and say "See its worth this but we are going to sell it to you for this.." Usually the value is inflated a little bit..

This is over, i offered him that deal and he laughed at me. I said good luck selling that truck with that attitude ass**le. He still hasnt sold it in a week. The dude is a dick and he drives a J**P.
