i've seen this pic here a while back and think that the mirrors are just clipped on but i'm not 100% sure..

tis much easire to replace the whole thing

The special side signal mirrors have to swap the glass, try to find those threads for instructions. I believe that there are studs on the back of the glass which snap into place. I'm sure some forked tool would work best. It takes a lot of force to pull those studs out, be easy with them. Good luck,

You could do what I did and back into the garage and blow out the glass on the garage door frame, haha.

That got the whole thing out pretty easily. Doing that allowed me to see how the thing worked on the inside, so I don't really regret it happening at all. There is a ball and socket type joint in the center of the mirror, and then pins along the sizes. Two of the pins grab a driver mechanism, one for each direction. The other two slide freely, but are there to keep the mirror from rotating.

If you pull gently but firmly straight out, it should come apart without breaking. Find the muth mirrors install info though, that is probably you're best bet.
