Hello all,

First post here, but I’ve been reading for a few years. In the last week, both of the turn signals on my side view mirrors have stopped working, started working again, and then stopped working again. I did check the fuse and it’s fine. I’m thinking wiring, but that doesn’t make a ton of sense either because they both stop working and start working again at the exact same time. Does anyone have any ideas?

Using FORScan with a good dongle or a pro scan tool that can check every module & bus: are there any trouble codes on any module? Does every expected module show up?
On Gen 5 Explorers there are two variants of wiring going to the front doors. Lower trims run everything off of the BCM directly, while higher trims (I think this includes your Limited) have a module in each door that talks over the vehicle networks and manages door/window/mirror functions itself.
If there is a communication bus issue, that would explain why both fail at the same time. When the problem is happening, do your blind spot indicators and puddle lights also have issues?

Having good info in your profile will make it easier to answer you. Right now, it says "201, Explorer Limited" which is nearly useless.

Welcome to the Forum.
It wouldn't be a fuse. If it were a blown fuse, they wouldn't start working again. Possible a wiring issue of some type, Bad ground??
