Silver-ish/chrome bulb that lights up amber?

Yeah, I put too much paint on mine too, but it's still amber at the base of the bulb near the connection, and it glows, amber

Amber LED

I dont know if this what you guys are exactly looking for , but they make LED bulbs for our blinkers. If you don't know what an LED bulb is , it's multiple bulbs on one fixture that when not lit up , Is totally 100% clear no color reflection until it is lit up. They sell them over at www.clearlights.com

hope that helped,

Nick

you can get the same results by using the stock amber bulbs, and paint them with a $2 can of silver spray paint. i have LED's in the very corner (the little ones) and painted the big ambers.....you cant tell a difference.

yea, i here you. too bad i already had the little ones in the corner before i tried the silver paint. would have saved some $$$. oh well....

leds...

Why do you guys not like them? Ive had great results with mine

because, you can use a can of silver spray paint and paint the stock amber ones and have the same thing (clear clear lenses). the paint cost $3. it is a matter of saving money.

this is true

it sucks when a painted bulb burns out and you have to try and find the right paint. happened to me and i ended up painting them all white instead of the blue/silver i'd used before 'cause i couldn't find the right paint.

haha thats funny :)

Drew, What didnt work about a different color paint? Did they light up a different shade of orange or something? Or did you see a blue-ish color during the day and that wouldnt match?
