EDIT my to do list this week is to pull the plugs and check the wires so i can try to figure out why i am getting in intermittent miss in the motor.

mazda front end will work with fiberglass. i changed it move the blinkers higher/out of the way more
navajo taillights are different? ok sorry, this really has nothing to do wiht the topic of the thread

Cyber, If I bring a tarp to line the back of the blazer, do you wanna throw that motor/trans in there after this run?

So I just got back from the trans shop, and I'm not very happy...My truck will be going back to the shop on Thurs...
After reexplaining to the guy the signs/symptoms of my problem the guy told me that I'd have to leave it with him for 2-3 days and that it probably needs to be rebuilt. After reminding him that he just rebuilt it 60k ago, and that it still drive/shifts just fine under normal use he remarked "sorry, don't know what else to tell you". I told him thanks for his time, but even if it needs to be rebuilt, since his only last 60k, I'll need to find somewhere else...
So I' m gonna due some more research, and tinker around a bit... worse case scenario - I still go tomorrow but stick to the easy stuff...

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like you might be better off getting a low mileage junk yard transmission and replacing it outright? So I just got back from the trans shop, and I'm not very happy...
As for doing easier trails, I may be in the same boat as I could have more damage than I thought from the last run. I have to get under the truck and try to actually see what I am feeling, but I am not sure I want to put too much stress on the front end before dealing with it (whatever it is).
Sorry you can't make it, carlover
