O i knew you had explorer front end installed, what i meant was you had the mazda stuff in your possession.

Friday sounds good to me it'll be interesting to start from the other end this time:D

I'll be there regardless of these other youngster's decide;) Since i am wheeling junkie now:cool:

RJ will the navajo grille work with your glass? thought that was why u were running the Explorer stuff in the first place.

I love the mazda stuff on the front, it just hard to replace when you break:( Although I really like fakrwee new front end with the old b2 ranger grill:thumbsup:

yea i know this since i have been trying to find a set of Navajo taillights for a little different look on my Explorer but there virtually impossible to find.

Lot's of guys claim to have em on E-bay but then you look at the picture and there just OEM Explorer Lenses:rolleyes:

lol...I'll be there regardless of whether or not my truck is ready or not.:p:
Hmmm...Thurs to do list - get trans rechecked, have t-case checked, install trans temp gauge, and mount at least one front tow hook...

...Since i am wheeling junkie now:cool:
Ha, this will be my fifth run in five weeks...probably why my pos still isn't running quite right.

well u got me beat since i don't have too many friends that wheel so i jump at every chance i do get.:D

EDIT my to do list this week is to pull the plugs and check the wires so i can try to figure out why i am getting in intermittent miss in the motor.

im thinking of some ideas for puting the mazda grill and lights on. ill start a thread about it sometime. but once i break anything i'll prolly switch back to the explorer front end again.

mazda front end will work with fiberglass. i changed it move the blinkers higher/out of the way more

Cyber, If I bring a tarp to line the back of the blazer, do you wanna throw that motor/trans in there after this run?

sounds good. I put some new stuff in that photo thread of mine.....lots going in tonight.

My truck will be going back to the shop on Thurs...
So I just got back from the trans shop, and I'm not very happy...

After reexplaining to the guy the signs/symptoms of my problem the guy told me that I'd have to leave it with him for 2-3 days and that it probably needs to be rebuilt. After reminding him that he just rebuilt it 60k ago, and that it still drive/shifts just fine under normal use he remarked "sorry, don't know what else to tell you". I told him thanks for his time, but even if it needs to be rebuilt, since his only last 60k, I'll need to find somewhere else...

So I' m gonna due some more research, and tinker around a bit... worse case scenario - I still go tomorrow but stick to the easy stuff...

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like you might be better off getting a low mileage junk yard transmission and replacing it outright?

As for doing easier trails, I may be in the same boat as I could have more damage than I thought from the last run. I have to get under the truck and try to actually see what I am feeling, but I am not sure I want to put too much stress on the front end before dealing with it (whatever it is).

Sorry you can't make it, carlover :(.
