skid plate fitment

I am wondering if anybody knows if a skid plate off of a 2001 5.0 AWD Explorer would fit a 2000 4.0 4x4 4 door? the 2000 explorer has a 21 gallon tank. I am asking this question regarding both transfer case and gas tank skid plates. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you know for sure that it has a skid plate? Both of those years didn't come with skid plates from the factory.

And yes, with all the brackets, it should bolt up.

well I found someone that has a 2001 explorer 5.0 AWD. I am more worried about the transfer case one not fitting cause I know they dont have the same transfer case.

They're universal. It'll fit. 99% sure atleast
