Well the donor transmission is coming apart (1352-238) which is a 94-97 T-5WC that has the exact same specs as the factory T-5 for 1985.

So we'll be replacing the blocking rings for 2nd and third so we have some very smooth gear changes.

Now I just need to get the Terlingua's clutch back in her, and drag my 85' LX over and pull the tranny out.

You probably never have seen floor pans that nice on a 25 year old up there :p:

Yeah, it's in the upper 20's here, note heater next to the table, think I may keep the beard a little longer, although it's starting to get on my nerves.

Jeff -

Mother****er, G**damn, T-5 fought me the whole way, to get it all fixed up, it's like it didn't know I was trying to do something nice to it, and kicked screamed, pissed and moaned the whole build.

But now that it's done, it has silky smooth shifting, no clashing gears, and all quite.

Man what a job, that was just stoopid, wore me out!!

Jeff - :(

Sun beat and the heat from Arizona, charred these seats into almost looking black, besides the hole worn into them, the fabric has just had it.

Hot enough that 3 quarters melted into the coin tray in the console.

We're not gonna talk about the cheesy fix for the console arm rest.

Now maybe, Jeff, Tim, or even Don might be able to identify these seats, which are basically non-existent, and the company is know for poor customer service, enough clues guys?

Well and as your asking your self, "wasn't he selling this car?" well since I'm getting nothing but the typical scam replies and one guys completely inappropriate email from his work email addy, his boss smugly informed me "he'll be looking for more than just a car now!" I have decided to just keep making repairs and fixing it up, only bringing the value and enjoyment up.

They look like recaros from an 80's T/A. I've never seen this thread..I'm glad I found it. I wonder how some SSP rims would look on that?

A true racer/mechanic!

Not really a mustang guy but i love what your doing with it and keeping it clean. Almost every fox body is molested up north. Also love the Terlingua in the background! I have only seen one in person and it was at the philly auto show in 05'.

Sweet cars and sweet shop.

Still want a black SVO to park next to it? :D

Oh believe me, other than, the seat the rest of the car is staying very stock.

Well my wife was looking over my shoulder, and said wait till the tax return comes in, or hell, I guess I could sell the turbo coupe :)

they look like recaro's from a SVO with the hand pump at the side. if i am right, what do i win? :D

Lear-Siegler made the seats for the SVO, sorry no cookie for you :p:

And they didn't come out of a car, it's an after market company.
