While in gear at a stop my truck has a squeeking noise coming from the engine bay. It only does it in gear though. If I'm in Neutrel or in Park I don't hear it. I think it still does it in park and neutrel it just isn't as loud. Is it a belt? I'm not exactly sure what it is... just noticed it happening yesterday.

Sounds like a belt tensioner or pulley problem - these like to be selective when they occur - it would be too easy for it to show it's ugly head while your looking right at it, trying to find it. Try SECURELY blocking the wheels, applying the p-brake, putting it in gear, and then checking it...

I highly recommend getting a mechanic's stethiscope (about $10) and touching the probe to each component your serpentine belt runs. Be careful not to get clothing or the probe hung up on moving parts. If it's a pulley, the scope will clearly ID the culprit. I was ready to buy a new alternator when my neighbor loaned me his scope...turned out to be a $20 idler puller.
