Slight whine when reversing in ST

I want to check with this forum first to determine if I may have an issue before I bring it up to the dealer and be told it's normal. In my ST, when in reverse, there is always a slight whine sound when moving. It's not necessarily a negative sound, but there is a distinct whine sound when reversing. Do any or all of you hear a whine sound when reversing from the 10 speed transmission ?

Yes, the are the turbos whineing. It's normal in an ST.

The turbo's whine only in reverse....
So they must scream in drive...smh

In drive they are not screaming.

By the way Blwnsmoke did you fix your whistling sound coming out of passenger side door when driving with window open?

Nope, still havent made an appt. I'm procrastinating..
