Try a different gas station. The Arco near me takes forever to fill but they are the cheapest around. Costco gas pumps are pretty quick, they say if the filters are full it slows down delivery. If the problem is your truck I would check your vent hose.
agree. Different gas station. About the only thing that would slow it down on the truck side is a kinked or clogged fill hose. Even a vent issue wouldn't slow it down that much.
I run into this too. I find if I pull the nozzle half way out of the fill it tends to let it flow faster without setting off the auto stop on the pump. Problem is you get a bit of a splash when it does get full. Certain pumps seem to be more sensitive then others. The best one I find around here is Costco, the worst is Petro-can.
