Slow gas fill then sucking sound

Hi all, Ive done my research and im pretty sure the problem is the vapor canister purge valve, but first im going to check the vapor/vacuum hose.

My problem has been getting worse and the only way to fill my tank is i buy 10 gallons of gas and then fill my tank with gas cans, when I'm done i getting a sucking sound from the fill spout for about 15 to 20 seconds I think it's the tank equalizing the air out. Was wondering if anyone else has ever noticed this when they had problems filling their tank? If so what did you do to fix?

Took the hose loose and blew it out from the bottom no difference, guess its time to get a new vapor valve.

I have seen several threads about this before. I have checked my shop manuals and can't find anything on this concern. I guess I don't know where to look.

Thanks for the links Rondo always appreciated. I had read part of them and was wondering if anyone else had the same noises i had. Got to get it fixed before my wife fixes me!!!! She is not to happy that it takes forever to fill up when its cold out
