Can anyone tell me/send me a link to a site showing step by steps to smoking your headlights and or tailights..? I have no idea how to do it with spray paint, and I cant afford to do it with tint. Help?

VHT Niteshades, just spray it on (After cleaning them)

thanks, do you have yours done? could you post a picture of them?

Don't do your headlights. That's just plain irresponsible. If you're going to do your tails, keep them light. Some people overdo the tails. Not only does it look dated, but it's also unsafe to those following you. I overdid it once (nowhere near as dark as some people) and the tails truly aren't as visible as stock. I tested them vs stock on a dark country road.

Nightshades do make tails harder to see. If you ever get rear-ended, expect to get charged if the cops notice.

I did mine with one light coat. I love the look personally.

Scores of threads in the archives. Use one or both of the search tools and you'll find a lot of threads on how it's done.

Ditto on not doing the headlights. Second ditto on keeping the tails light. I'm a police officer and I don't bother with light tint on the taillights, but tinted headlights or dark tails and I'd write ya. I've seen too many people screw it up and then drive down the road and you can't see them coming. Some nasty accidents as well.

Thank you officer. :)
