ya it actually came off fairly easy with some adhesive remover. well ill try again! i could retry 5 times and still be cheaper then the shop lol

You got lucky! Why not go with the black housings instead? The part around the bulbs are still chrome, and the lenses are clear, so you won't really have any decreased light output. If anything, I would think you'd get less scatter with these if you have HIDs since there is less reflective chrome throughout the whole housing. You can get them with clear reflectors or amber reflectors in the corners. I got these with the amber reflectors (to stay legal) for $150 shipped on ebay.

Wow, congrats on it not turning to crap lol. Yeah I went the same route as jluv. Although I do have to say there is a lot of hotspots with my HIDs in eBay headlights
