Ok so I just smoked my head lights using the pactra rc294 tint. First thing is it came out kinda purplish ( i dunno why) second thing i messed up and got some bad runs third thing i made them wayyy to dark. lol how can i remove the tint? i had already put clear over it already to

ya i lost ALOT of output even with my 8k HID if i get 4300k wil lthat make a diffrence?

Nice! (Legal?) So all you have to do is buff them down until the defects are gone... What year is it?
 












You might be in the market for replacement lamps... for safety, you can't see at night. I'd would think paint thinner could remove that...
 






If you can't get the paint off, and need oem corners, I can send you mine... pm?
 






paint thinner may blurr out the actual plastic on the headlight...i speak from experience...not on a car though...test before you apply
 






oh, then i wouldn't use it... sounds like it would melt the plastic?
 






Try using rubbing compound with a buffer. Paint thinner will definately eat at the plastic a little and make the lamps look foggy, I know acetone does.

Isn't that the same as paint thinner?
