was wondering if it is illegal for smoked light covers? like the opposite of clears. Saw them on a show car and want them? will they let u have them if u get super bright bulbs to counter it?

It all depends. Some states and areas will allow it, some wont. I dunno if brighter bulbs will help like LED's do on clears. Might want to ask a cop whats legal in your area :) I know blackouts are totally legal in some places, and not in others. If you are talking about the smoked Altezzas or the spray on tint, I'm not so sure. You can try to do a search for laws in your area.

I have used the smoke spray, I like it better than the cover. It looks cleaner than the bulky covers. Also you can go lighter or darker.

smoke spray? Haven't heard of it, but it catches my eye. I have blackouts on my x now and I haven't been pulled over or anything.. Makes me believe they're legal here in CA. however, they are a bit bulky, and I'd like to know more about this smoke spray. Does it come off with water or anything? let me know, i'm interested in getting some of this stuff..
