So while opening my liftgate this afternoon, one of the liftgate shocks came flying down and hit me on my head. 
Apparently the nub piece on the liftgate that the shock is connected to was rusted and broke right off inside of the liftgate shock.
Sooooo anyone have any ideas on how to fix this other than getting a whole freakin liftgate? I'm totally stumped on this one..
