well guys as the title says i got to thinking... i was elbow deep in my 4406 conversion that came out amazing i love the power, well as it would turn out my front diff was shot 60 thousandths back lash gritty bearings she is done oh and a bushing needs replaced lol. anyways i cut my cv shafts into stubs so i can tool about i 2wd and while at that and upper control arms it hit me... the t-bar suspension on this thing is utter S*** and was wondering if 3/16 steel plate would be thick enough to box the shock tower and gusset it for a coil over set up because i can see no one make brackets anymore.
sorry to ramble on but at the same time i thought since the 5.0l rear end is almost set up for a 4 link do you think re-enforcing the rear cross member would be enough to use a oil over on the rear of the truck, the front im going to do but the rear i just though i would rattle that around you guys and see what yall thought
