i recently did a soa conversion on my 1998 explorer sport..and i took the bracket that was under the axle off and mpoutned it on top without welding it..should i weld it? and i only did a torsion twist 2 inches on front..what can i do the even it out?..thanks

You can buy a 4" lift kit for the front end in addition to the Torsion twist you did. SOA gives you roughly 5" to 6" inches of lift in the rear.

The perches are supposed to be welded to the tube once you set the pinion angle.

How did you remove the spring perches?

I'm curious because typically, the spring perches are eaten away by a grinding wheel or a reciprocating saw.

my uncles body shop did it..i dont know how they did it

Oh, well then they probably replaced it with another spring perch - cheapest and easiest solution.

yea i just looked and the old perce is still there...can anyone tell me where to get a 4 inch lift for my front end
