Okay, I've done several searches on a lot of the topics that I'm going to broach here, and haven't been able to find complete answers... so here goes:
SOA: I am very interested in this conversion, and from what I understand you only need another mounting plate welded to the axle for the leaf springs. Is there a kit for this somewhere, and if so what is the price/ manufacturer?
TT: I have a 2wd, and have seen people with some extreme lifts w/ just the TT. Is this possible on all 2wd's? Having seen the thread on retwisting the Torsion bars and then reinstalling and cranking up higher, can I continue to do this for as high as I want? (want ~3")
Shackles/I'm an idiot: I have already purchased shackles and have run into some problems. It seems that I cannot loosen the bolt going through the shackle to frame mount no matter what I do. Any suggestions? I have tried using a cheater bar, liquid wrenching to death, etc.... the reason I'm an idiot is that this is even a bigger pain in the ass because I had the muffler shop run duals out of my X, and the driver's side tip is 1/2" away from the aforementioned bolt... DOH!
