I have a K and N Filter, and cat-back exhaust. Is there any other hp modifications out there? I was thinking of supercharging? Chips are about $400 bucks and do not help gasoline engines that much (compared to diesel).

Welcome to the forum. There is a ton of information here on what you are asking about.

Also moving this thread to the correct location.

let's just get that link out of the way post-haste.
I've concluded from what I've read on this forum that the 4.0 OHC motor is a sturdy, fine little mill, but if you're after big hp, you can save yourself a ton of heartache (and $$$) by swapping out for a five-point-oh.

You can underdrive the crank as well as the water pump. Install a e fan. Computer tunes do indeed do wonders for this motor.

I am putting down over 200 at the rear wheels.

You are correct...much easier and cost effective to generate power with a 5.0 than a 4.0 . More cubes and many, many more parts available for upgrades.

However, we do have many people here that mod the 4.0 because they want to be different and show what the 4.0 can do..

As an SCT dealer, I completely agree with Aldive:salute:
