MAF sensor restriction
I replaced the stock 55 mm MAF sensor on my Sport with a 90 mm. I doubt the performance improvement was even measurable. The main justification to increase the diameter (and flow capacity) is when enough modifications to the engine have been performed that the airflow thru the engine could exceed the capability of the sensor. When that happens the engine can run dangerously lean. Unless you have ported heads with large valves or a boosted engine the stock sensor should be adequate.
