what soild front axle is best for my 92' xlt? how much should i pay someone to put it in?

Do a search (try the solid axle registry)
Do it yourself (i've never done one either..but that's not stopping me)

I'd use a hp d44 though ;)
 






.. or a LP d44. :D
 






If you want a stockish width axle just cut down the hp :D

who wants to go through the extra expense of the disk brake swap anyway :)
 












HP d30 is comparable in strenght to a LP D44, since there are alot of guys using eb axles (lp d44s) they would be just as strong.

i'm not going to get into a debate about a d30vsd44 though lol

Nothing less than a brand new D60 off a F-350 will be strong enough.


And dont even THINK about searching first.
