I was tired of having my cargo light always on when I was driving and then off when I needed it. Furthermore, it never turned on with the doors. I had LED lights installed, removed them, no luck.
I pulled the light and found the two pins that took in power and ground. I then removed the other four and put the light back. Now, the light ONLY goes on when I press the button, and then off when I am done. Not as nice as automated by the doors opening but it does take care of this annoying issue.
