Wanted Some help with transmision flush

Parts or services wanted
Hopefully then it should be OK... BUT, my experience is that the "ingression" isn't a "flash event" meaning that it occurs over time.... but it probably could "flash". I think that the reason for the "bottom third" is that there is a degree of separation (specific gravity) that occurs and I do believe that oil is lighter than water (antifreeze) and therefore floats to the top as it sits. Anyways, good luck..... I noticed mine when it started to have kick down problems.

i Think what i am going to do on this is attach the transmission lines to the cooler. Make sure its full and run it for a little bit and check the fluid for discoloration. Check it make sure the transmission still is operating correctly
and pull the filter one more time and prey like crazy it works. The filter that is in it is new so hopefully it will maybe catch what ever it left. Cant afford to put any more fluid in it, Cant afford for it to blow up either. 35 quarts i would feel would be sufficient. Like was stated here that even if the fluid was perfect coming out there is no guarantee damage hasnt already been done. Any body suggest any transmission additive. Such as lucas or any other product?
Thanks
Chris

Not sure I understand (or maybe missed), but you did replace your rad... right? The filter ain't going to do anything for you in terms of stopping antifreeze contam.... and actually might be a source contributing to your further contamination... hard know how much 'freeze gets stuck in there. good luck, it wasn't a "fun discovery" for me.

i agree

budwich is right oil is lighter then water and some of it is mixed together so instead of just draining 1 qt at a time and filling it with 1 fresh qt, what i do is drain 1 gallon at atime which is when i would see bubbles in the trans fluid coming out of the hose indicating that the filter is sucking air and the pan is almost empty. i shut off the truck, fill it with 3 qts reconnect the hose and run the truck and then shut it off and do it all over again!!!

Yes brand new radiator. The radiator hasnt even had a line hooked up to it yet.
I bought some Sea Foam tonight I think i am might run it through, change the filter again and hope for the best.

At first it was about a gallon at a time. before I figured out there was no suction line. I let it drain out for a while. I am hoping that changing the filter one more time might do the trick. Than maybe change it again in another week. Think I am fighting a loosing battle here. Remember that this transmission and torque converter has 35 quarts of brand new oil run through it. I am thinking if its not clean it probably wont be.

I am assuming that the sediment on the bottom of the pan is common after something like this happens right. Fluid was clear in the pan but it had a white crap on the bottom of the pan.
