sometime no start issue

my truck will start and run properly many days, but on some days i turn the key and the starter doesn't even try...

the fuel pump still runs and it has plenty of voltage. Any ideas what this could be? it seems odd that it comes and goes...

intermittant bad ground? check the battery cables for corrosion.

well, no. i should have clarified for those not familiar with my truck.

in short, i have a fresh red top starter battery with expensive terminal posts on it wired with like new 0 gauge (in addition to 6 svr 80-12s wired with an isolator)

However, it is possible that one of my factory grounds could be "bad"... starter relay/starter ground??? any hints on troubleshooting that?

If your wiring is good id say to go to the starter solenoid. Next time it doesnt start jump the solenoid and if it starts replace the solenoid.
