wow i take a little 3 hour nap and look what happens! well like SSIKORA said it is a single in dual out flowmaster 40 series muffler. and that is the exhaust resonating not the microphone messing up. the only other engine mods i have are the bbk which did nothing for the exhaust and the kkm. but i did the kkm AFTER teh exhaust and it sounded this way before the kkm as well. and both pipes are running straight out the back with 3" stainless tips. i'll have pics up in a week or so. also i still have the stock cats on my X as well.
and a big thank you to SSIKORA for helping me host this! You're awesome shaun.
hey, as you posted in the previous thread.... here is a pic of my exhaust..... .and heres a clip of it.... Dead Link Removed

It's sounds like a v6 with ....... forget it! Sound's like a riced v6 camaro! Thats what it sound's like! Sorry guys not for me! I'm looking for nice tone.
used a laptop and a computer mic. put the mic on the bumper at about a 45 degree angle and turned the setting on the sound recorder to their highest quality settings. it took a couple tries, but it didn't turn out too bad
maybe i don't understand....please define "riced" to me. i hear these fart cans on the imports all the time. and my exhaust doesn't sound anything like that. there is no high pitched whine to mine. please enlighten me
