My wife has an 07 Explorer 4.0L V6. She just hit 100k miles, and I plan on changing out her plugs and wires.
Is there any tip or trick I need to know? Also whats the best plug and wires to get. I was looking at Autolites.
Is there anything else I should look at changing.
Thanks
Fuzzy

IMO, nothing special on the V-6's. I'd use either Motorcraft or Autolite XP's. I found access to the passenger side rear plug easier through the wheel well. I suggest using dielectric grease and hi-temp (gold) anti-sieze when you replace them. I don't usually replace the wires, but that's just me.

Thanks it took me about 1 hr to change them.
