Motorcraft. Motorcraft. Motorcraft. Bosch plugs aren't worth the boxes they come in.

Ditto Motorcraft, although Autolite may be easier to find in Venezuela. Closest match to the OEM replacements are Motorcraft SP500 or Autolite APP103 or XP103 Series. Check for correct .054 gap, anti sieze on threads and dielectric
grease on plug and coil boots optional. Search "spark plugs" in this 1995-01 sub forum, 42 pages of threads. GL

Motorcraft SP500

Autolite XP103. Or even better, the NGK Laser Iridium ITR5F13.
Contrary of what is believed, antiseize is NOT needed or recommended for chrome/nickel plated spark plugs.

Motorcraft SP500 plugs are iridium tip <EDIT.

I have used Bosch spark plugs in other cars without any problems, but for some reason they do not agree with the ignition system in the Explorers.

I pulled a set of SP 500s that had 80,000 miles on them, and they showed very little wear.

Is not the ignition system, is the burn chamber geometry. The Bosch worked fine 80k miles in my Sable Duratec DOHC - but that engine was designed with Porsche help.

thanks you all ...I found the sp-500 agsf22fm
