Post up your personal Preference, and which Engine & Year, you use them in.

Goal: To help others make an informed decision, when purchasing parts & wanting to do the work themselves, or wanting a mechanic/shop to install a specific brand/type.

Additional helpful information you can offer:

Do you do anything to them when installing to make it easier or help for future removal?
When do you change them? When a problem arises or as routine maintenance?
Where do you source them from? Have a Link to share?
Have any DIY tips to offer for a certain model/Yr?

Share the knowledge folks, let's help each other out, as best we can!

From reading many threads here about this, it seems Motorcraft is the brand of choice.

I just bought Motorcraft SP500 plugs and Motorcraft wires for my 2002 4.0 SOHC, plan to put them in come springtime.

I've run NGK plugs in everything I own since the '80s. Just a personal preference.

I drive a 2000 5.0. I use Motorcraft spark plugs, engine oil, and filters. The plug wires currently in the truck are NAPA, as I was up in the mountains and that was the only store available. However, they have worked very well. Ive never had a problem with NAPA parts.
