I just changed all my plugs last night, BTW PITA! I used autolite platniums, and at walmart it said to to use 765... so I did
I saw that my engine was running to hot..... compared with pics from haynes manual, and not I am not sure what is causing it..... UG please help a guy out!

What color are the plugs? White= lean (hot) Rusty brown = don't sweat it, its from chemicals used in modern gasoline. Its hard to go by some of the photos in the manuals because they were taken in the Fifties and advances in modern fuel refining process have changed the way the plugs look.

congratulations. how in ther world did u get that plugs out of the passenger side? i tried to remove one closes to the passenger side and gave up after 10 minutes pullong and wiggling and tugging on the boot just to try to rtemove it and gave up after half my skin was torn up. any help would be appreciated. any special tools? yes, all the plugs are still in the truck.

it isn't pure white, it is tainted more white than rusty brown.... and believe me I have never experienced more frustration ever before changing those plugs. I actually had same amount of trouble pulling the boot off of the other 2 on the passenger side, but pulling the boot off is 75% of the battle..... I just PULLEd and PULLED and ripped my hand APART and pulled somemore then POP! it came off..... best of luck!
