allright i am having problems with sticking in a cd player in a 91 X. i managed to make the cd player itself work, but i cant get the speakers to work. is there a way i could splice the wires or anything? thanks

I have no idea what you did so I can't really tell you where you went wrong. So we start from scratch.

Easiest way to do this all would be to buy a wiring harness. Other than that, you can make it work if you cut the factory harnesses off and solder the wires to the wires for the new head unit's harness. I assume you did this already for the power and whatnot to the head unit. The speakers will also ahve wires back there in the harnesses, there wil be 8 of them in total. The easy way to tell which they are is to look for a set of 8 wires where they're the same color except one has a stripe and the other does not. Each speaker will have a colored wire and a striped wire. I don't know which wire goes to which speaker however, but you should just have to connect the wires to the ones on the new cd player's harness.
