Has anyone bought and tried one of these $ 10.00 resistors that claims up to 20HP increase just by plugging it into the IAT ???

it advances the timing by tricking the computer into thinking the incoming air is colder than it really is. I doubt it increases by 20hp, but it might make a noticeable difference.

Garbage. Spend the money and get a real chip (i.e. SCT).

Or you could send me the money and I'll use it to buy the same resistors from radio shack and mail them to you. Only thing is I want to keep the $8 thats left over after buying the resistors and the 35 cent stamp to mail them.

i know it says maine in my profile but im from richboro originally and then i moved to west philly till i was 21 or so. i had to move up here to maine around all of the new england fans for the navy and i cant wait to watch our eagles end thier 20 something year drought! fly eagles fly!

It's trash, but many people ignore that advice anyways and spend the $10, then cry later on when their cats and plugs are ruined and their mileage sucks.
